Traditional and Modern Hairdressing A little about myself & Salongemz..........
I have 16yrs experience in both "Modern & Traditional Hairdressing".
I was trained by John English and a member of their team for 7yrs. In which time I was fortunate enough to work in their Salons throughout Stoke-on-Trent, Burton-on-Trent, Stockport & Sale, where I gained a variety of techniques.
Also I worked in Blythe Bridge for just under 7yrs at Shapers.
It is now time for the next stage in my career by owing my own Salon!
Salongemz is a stockist of "Goldwell Colours" & for the funky ones of you out there........ "Crazy Colors"!
During the past 10months Salongemz has undergone somewhat of a facelift:

Now I have made you comfortable I am planning the "The New Modern Decor"!
At Salongemz I aim to please.....

facebook.comBefore & After Photos. Dry Cut Restyle! With the client requiring a dry cut I initially straightened the hair so I could create the desired layered/textured look that the client requested. The hair was point cut and density was removed with thinning scissors to achieve the desired look/thickness. As you can see the hair was extremely long & thick prior to cutting. The feature side of this cut was created using a grade 3 clipper guard.
Colour Refresh & Cut! The roots were toned with 7N 2 inches 6RB 6% to cover un wanted grey & add depth. (Natural Base 7A with 25% grey) Powder Bleach with 9% was used throughout the rest of the hair to brighten. Colour Secret was added to the mix to strengthen & protect the hair whilst processing. Approximately 4 inches were cut off the back of the hair to eliminate previous dry ends and the remainder of the layers. The cut was then angled forward to leave length at the front.
