Team pottery are taking a few days break in the wilds of the north right now but luckily we have The Coffee Kiln's Nathan and Gillian holding fort at the shop. Wedding season ✨ We have been getting a lot of commissions for personalised pieces for weddings this summer. On plates, plant pots, bowls and cups. Usually I can't show them until they have been gifted but I figure I'd get away with this one 😉. ✨ If you want to commission any special pieces just get in touch via email of pop in the shop.

One of my mum's earliest tile panels from about twenty years ago. I really love it. Originally made as a mounted piece rather than a splashback for this grubby corner of the workshop. . Alison still loves to paint tile panels and is continuing to do so despite retiring from production pottery and shop duties. If you would like any more information about commissioning a tile panel either mounted or loose to be set in the wall, just get in touch.

We have had a restock of Claire Henry Ceramics beautiful hand thrown pottery in the shop. Claire is a Canadian potter based in Glasgow who Eilidh met at various design markets. Her stunning work has built a wide fan base but as she does not yet sell online, her pieces aren't always the easiest to get a hold of which makes stocking them all the more special.

The greenery jug has been popular on our Etsy shop this week. I'm hoping they will be a perfect vessel for all those summer get togethers and garden parties. I'd probably fill mine with some fresh lemonade. The kind that draws your cheeks together. 😚🍋🍋🍋 A cocktail would be another good option but I have no idea where to start with that. Favourite batch of bothies, crofts and kirks yet. I'm loving the addition of the black. At the moment these are only available in our bricks and mortar shop.
