UPDATE: Due to the huge initial response, Christal will now only be communicating further with those who responded yesterday For anyone wanting to earn a bit of money next term and brush up on their acting skills, an opportunity has arisen in the School of Medicine! The University's Medical School is looking for young actors to act as simulated patients. These sessions are mostly 1.5-3h (in semester 1 Tuesday mornings or afternoons, beginning 20.08.19) in duration and enable medical students to practise taking histories (script sent to inpatients in advance). You would be paid £9/hr and your schedule would be flexible. If you are interested please contact Christal at christal.grierson@st-andrews.ac.uk who will be happy to explain the role further and show you around the clinical skills facility.
