Neurosis Techno w/ Đctor Dctor is a Tech house, Techno and Tribal Dj originally from Porto, Portugal, who is now rising in the Techno scenes. Having spent last summers in Ibiza at some of the islands top venues Dctor returned to the UK to play at EGG LDN, Ministry of Sound and other top venues through various promotions. Dctor has joined in 2015 the Darkest Before Dawn and Evotech collective, adding to his already impressive list of accolades. Heading out on UK tour in with Darkest Before Dawn, returning to Porto to join up with the prestigious Orange Rooms TV and also returning to the white isle with Darkest Before Dawn in the following years. Neurosis Techno collective was a dream by NJT formerly Brainzee that step by step is becoming reality with the help of Đctor, on the basis of creating something different and unique, that was a goal for both Djs. Our aim is to create an environment where people can not only dance and drink, but also learn about the different variety of techno, not just a techno event, but a place to feel the European vibe, anything from Berlin dark techno to happy Spanish techno. Being able to succeed will give everyone in Southampton a chance in to be in a small community of music lover's where everyone's welcome. Tonights 19:30 till 21:00 slot is Dan Hayes - DJ A 24 year old tech house DJ from Eastbourne, England. The Evermix DJ competition winner of 2016 in association with Toolroom Records & Krafted. Having grown up listening to a wide variety of music it was safe to say it has always been around him & was only a matter of time till he found his feet. It wasn't until his teens that dance music became a very heavy influence. DJing only started off, like most, in the bedroom where he would practice for friends. Then a move to university where the lifestyle, and influences would dramatically change. Having been surrounded by deep & tech house from peers & the local nightlife, Dan switched his attention and began to delve deeper and emerged himself within the industry and the music. Regularly going to events and club nights this brought the urge back but in a new form, the buzz came back & heavy practicing then saw improvements being made. Then it came to the attention of a local brand who would then give him his first opportunity to play out in a club. The buzz from having his peers around & others all dancing to the music he was playing gave him the push he needed to try & make something of it. and after months of practicing, the odd gig here and there one of the turning points was then formed. In late 2015 Evermix ran a DJ competition which was hosted in association with Krafted & Toolroom, in January 2016 it was announced that he had won. The odd gig here and there then turned to more regular bookings including chances to play at Ministry of Sound, Egg and other various venues around London, Switch & Junk in Southampton, The Arch in Brighton to name but a few. After spending a season in Ibiza He managed to get sets in Sankeys & Eden whilst featuring across other bars and venues across the island.Alongside venues on the white isle Dan has also played in Croatia and Malta at UES & Lost and Found festivals respectively. Supporting the likes of; Skream, Bicep, Kerri Chandler, Sam Divine, DJ SKT, Darius Syrossian, Truth Be Told, Enzo Siffredi, Sonny Fodera, Dusky and more. His versatility is one of his key attributes whether it's the type of crowd he plays in front of or whether it's being able to mix in a variety of genres within one set he does it to create an atmosphere unique to himself. Although still young his eagerness for challenges does not stop and his ability to read a crowd has warranted where he is today.
