TUESDAY TREBLE SAW THE NEW AND OLD TAKE CENTRE STAGE! Tuesday 5th April First up we had Guinness Rascal who didn't trap great but paced up well and the danger chopped across him at the corner and raced clear and he tried to get after him and switched outside but couldn't quite get through at the third bend and finished second and is knocking on the door to win. Next up we had a pup on debut, Nodrog Paddy. He was in an A4 and we thought it was tough and being a bit nervous and first time under lights a lot could go wrong but he come under the bars and raced clear and coming off the last he looked to be coming home short as he is a short runner and on a slow track he was up against it but he kept going to win in impressive fashion by a length and a half in 27.35 and it was some run. He looks to be a real good dog and should relish the summer going. We then sent one of the old guard out, Mister Big Boss out in an A1 and he came away well for him and he turned the second bend nearly in front and he wound it up down the far side and pulled away to win by two and a half lengths and done it well. We then had Tavern Totty who finished yet again second as she didn't trap that well but paced up and was hassled around the bends and down the far side by trap 1 and ran on but the winner had already flown. Finally we had Droopys Rem who many people find it hard to believe hadn't won since last August as he has had spells off but went through the Golden Crest running so well many treated him like he had won it and tonight he didn't trap great but ran a reasonable bend but from bends two to three he blew the opposition away and led from the third bend and won well in the end in a fat 26.89. He has been a brilliant dog and that win would have done him the world of good. It rounded off a brilliant night for old owners, new owners and many connected with the kennel as they all celebrated a great kennel treble! We have a real good kennel to go to war with and our next stop is Hove Thursday.
SENECAS SIZZLING SECTIONAL SENDS HER CLEAR AGAIN! Sunday 3rd April First up was Miss Royal who continues her streak of not winning where she came up against better dogs and got no run again. She needs a complete drop in class and a chance to dictate. But she finished fifth and didn't look at all in the race. Nobodys Duffer was next up and he is up in grade now where he won a few races and didn't come away that well but he showed a good bit of middle and looked to be traveling well before getting badly hampered at the third bend and ending up finishing last. Droopys Seneca was our penultimate runner and she done her usual sizzling sectional even against fast starters she blew them away and ran her normal wide course and gave them a chance to come back into the race but she rallied again in the straight and held on to win the top heat. Finally we had Slaneyside Ronda who flew out and looked to have the race at her mercy but she hit the third bend rail when in front and got passed by the leader then a strong finisher to end up third.
EASY AS 1-2-3 AS MARTINI HEADS HOME KENNEL TRICAST! Saturday 2nd April First up we had a new pup who was very harshly treated off of trials and found himself in A3 being an unraced novice and the race didn't do him no favours as expected for a pup on debut he missed his break then was badly bumped at the bend and although showing a good bit of middle and staying on he needed a weaker start where he could learn the ropes. But he will have learnt from his mistakes and hopefully will have a better chance in the coming weeks as I think he could be a decent pup. Next up was Shelleve who came away ok but was led by a stronger dog and she ran well enough back in third but needs to lead to win. We then had Clover Beyonce, Bren Gun and Droopys Martini all in a top A1 and we thought the winner would come from outside but it wasn't the case as Droopys Martini banged out in front with Bren Gun. Beyonce didn't come away and was badly hampered at the bend. Martini was up front head to head with Bren Gun and she battled on to win as Bren Gun held second showing great middle and Beyonce was very impressive running in for third as she gained on the leaders and looks a real class prospect one who I rate highly. Dubai Turbo was next and he finished fifth after not trapping as well but he has been running very well and when he came with a big run at the third bend he went up in the air and nearly went down so done well to stay up. Finally we had Psychic Psyche and she ran second after coming away reasonably she went to the bend and cut in where she was crowded and the winner went clear but she done well to rally and stay on for second. She will be winning in the next few weeks.
DAN IN CLOVER AS HE BLOWS AWAY FIELD AT TOWCESTER IN FINAL! Tuesday 29th March We went to Towcester tonight and were also there the week before which saw Clover Dan win his semi final and book himself in tonight's final! First up we had the pup running Eskes Champ who had trialled there the week before and he ran a brilliant race coming second after trapping well but finding trouble at the bend. He then got going down the far side before not running the last two bends fluently which is lack of experience being only his 3rd race but he ran on and was only beaten a couple of lengths and really got us excited as he looks a dog with a bright future and one who will win many good races. Next up we had Droopys Rem who was badly drawn in trap five and missed his break and went to the bend where the six chopped across him and he was very badly baulked at the bend which sent him scattering across the track from where he could never recover and he ran fifth. We then had Bren Gun in the sprint race and it was some race against the unbeaten sprinter in the country who's seven from seven and there were other too hounds in the race and he didn't come away but did run on well and wasn't disgraced after finishing fifth and could win some opens in with the right company. We then finally had Clover Dan in the final and he looked to have a good chance after producing the fastest time of the semis on his first appearance at the track the week before but the big names were sent off favourite and we were still a fair price and as traps rose Dan came away well and put himself handy at the bend and was level coming off the second and it was all over as he blew the field away down the far side and ran away a brilliant winner by over five lengths and produced a fantastic 28.23 and showed real class and capped off a brilliant night!

The next arrival is also a September 2014 bitch called Droopys Petula. She is the last Droopys to be sired out of the famous Westmead Hawk and her dam is the new Droopys Fantasy who is a terrific looking bitch. Petula is 27 kilos and rails like a cat which is always a bonus! In her first trial she clocked 15.48 after railing well but looked puppyish. The week after she improved by one spot and done 15.47. I then stepped her up to 450m where she clocked a 27.55 after not coming away very well and missing the third bend slightly which most pups do in there first few trials. A week on she clocked 27.56 after being completely wrongly drawn to make up a mixed trial and after a bump at the bend went on to win by eleven lengths in a 27.56. She is for sale at a reasonable price and could be anything. Her true distance yet I am unsure of because she is so young and inexperienced but she's moved well for one so young. She can either be bought outright or syndicated if a syndicate can be put together for her. Please no time wasters. If your interested contact me or Alma and we will be happy to help. If you require anymore info please contact me. Regards Kaan.

Fletchwood Racing have some new arrivals and this is the first. A September 2014 brindle dog called Droopys Pluto. He is unraced and a complete novice. No pup brought in by me is ever rushed. He come into the kennels extremely underweight due to the kennel sickness in Ireland so is still a long way off his racing weight but has performed brilliantly as he strengthens up. In his first sprint he clocked 15.71 which was pleasing as his stride was all over the place and he didn't have a clue where he was. One week on and he improved to 15.54 after missing the bend. I then stepped him up to a 450m trial in which he was rather green still and got the third bend wrong but clocked a simply fantastic 27.26 and shows the ability of this pup. He trialled Monday on a very wet and slow track and after walking out of the kids and finding a lot of bother at the bend he managed to clock 27.47. The true going was probably -20 but it was given normal and so he would go nearer 27.00 if I were to solo him again. At this stage his true distance is unknown as expected but he looks classy. He will be a very decent dog in time and can run in any puppy event up until September and is the first crop from a talented brood who is sure to throw some super pups and is sired by the fantastic St Leger winner himself Aero Majestic. This dog has tons of improvement and I think he could be the real deal in time so why not by a share in him. There are 10 shares available and you can have as many as you require but will be responsible for 10% of his kennel bill for every share you own and this will give you much enjoyment as you can come to the kennels to see him or go to the track anytime with free admission. Anyone wishing to buy shares should contact me or Alma as we will only be to happy to help. Please no time wasters just trying to be nosey. Any other information required then please message me. Regards Kaan.

WIGGLES AND BELLE START THE YEAR WITH IMPRESSIVE BACK TO BACK WINS! Sunday 10th January Sunday started with Athboy Lucy dropped in grade and looked to have a chance but she didn't trap that well and the eventual winner done an A2 time in an A5! She ran well enough in third but still has a lot more to show than she is. Toberadora Gina was next and she came away well and finished fourth but beaten under a length as she battled up the front until off the last bend where strong trackers set about her and got past her close home. Shimmering Sand was next and she finished third after trapping well and turning the bend handy but a dog swung middle off the second bend and gave her something to hang around with as the other strong performers got going and caught her napping and she then ran on for third but is not far away from winning. Pennys Wiggles was our next runner fresh from last weeks impressive victory she lined up in a good race but she trapped better than she has been and went to the bend second which from there had the writing on the wall as she went to go round the leader at the second bend but then changed and went inside and at the third bend went through like a knife through butter as she stormed clear to win by over three lengths in a good 27.02. She is a credit to connections and has a lot more in the locker still. Miss Royal followed but could only manage to finish fifth after she got hampered on the run to the bend and really needs a race where she can get competitive as these races are a bit too tough for her. Droopys Seneca was our next runner and she performed well to finish fourth again only beaten under a length as she missed her break but still showed her customary early to get to the front. The strong runner and favourite was on the premises at the last bend and come through to win the race but Seneca is knocking on the door. We then had two in the next A1 with Mister Big Boss in trap four and Sister Bluebelle in five the same two as last week and the result was the same with Bluebelle winning and Big Boss in second. Bluebelle came under the bars and flew to the bend but Big Boss came out second which is rare and as they turned the bend Bluebelle blew Big Boss away from bends two to three and it wasn't until the last two bend where he started to reel her four length lead in but the line was coming and she managed to hold on to win by three quarters of a length in a fast 26.82. She is back to where she originally was and now looks to land her three timer but Big Boss is very close to winning now and if he can get a reasonable race with a clear run he will pose a real threat. Finally we had Slaneyside Ronda who missed her break but showed a bit of pace to the bend and down the far side looked to be coming with a real run into the third bend but the door shut on her and she got bumped back but she got going again and although finishing last only two lengths covered the whole field and she only has to come away handy and she could run a big race.
MAKING UP NUMBERS ON A WET JANUARY NIGHT! Saturday 9th January First up was Psychic Psyche who was having her second race back post retirement but was in a tough race in top grade and didn't come away that well and after finding trouble at the bend was shuffled back to third. But she come off sore so will be treated now to get that sorted. Next up we had Tavern Tina and Baker Wiz in together. These were both boxed round the wrong way and that proved the case on the run up as they slightly crowded one another but Tina turned the bend handy but couldn't get on terms with the eventual winner and ran second. Wiz was hampered at the bend and ended up fifth after a rough ride. We then sent three runners out in the next top heat with Boozed Daddy in three, Dubai Turbo in four and Bren Gun in five. It was a bad race and messy where Bren Gun ended up fourth, Daddy was fifth and Turbo was sixth. Daddy didn't come away but paced up well to the bend and clattered our other dogs as Turbo didn't come away that well and wouldn't have been good enough either way to compete in this class of A1. Gun got the worst of the trouble as he tried to clear them all but didn't get any sort of run and ran on after but didn't come away well enough to put himself in the race. We then followed this with another three in the top A1 with Nobodys Tavern in three, Colinvalley in four and Clover Dan in six. The race wasn't the best graded I've seen. Tavern ran really well in defeat as he finished second but never got away well enough to clear the bend in front but ran on well. Colinvalley was completely out graded as she came in as a reserve and ran creditable in fourth. Clover Dan was fifth but clearly something was a miss as he went to the bend behind and couldn't turn the corner that well and was beaten with no impression that he was in the race. He will be off the card now and go through all processes so that we can get to the bottom of what the problem is.
