At Raise the Bar Sports Performance Centre we have the knowledge, passion, experience and the tools to help you whatever your sport.

Imagine walking into a gym that has athletes working towards their Personal Goals. Programmes designed for Strength & Conditioning, Rapid Fat Loss, Increased Muscle, Speed & Power.

If you like to watch TV while you workout or love your cardio machine then this isn't the place for you. We're not here to entertain you, we're here to increase your performance.

Run as a regular gym membership, members can pay by monthly direct debit, Monthly PAYG, Annually or one day pass.

Added options such as, Personal Training, Semi Private Personal Trainnig,
Pre season training seasons, practical fat loss seminars and One Day growth worouts will also be available to members and non members.

We will also hold Strongman Training as well as an 8 Week Beach Body Boot Camp for Men only and Women only.

Gyms are designed for Minimal Supervision and provide minimal results.

A biomechanics assessment involves an analysis of the body during a number of testing protocols. Its purpose is to acknowledge any potential issues due to muscular imbalances that may predispose someone to injury and correct them. PART 1 As part of a biomechanics assessment I analyse your static posture. Here is a video that shows how the results are interpreted.

We'd like to welcome our new Boot Camp Coach and Personal Trainer Matthew Stephens Matthew is a Sports Science Lecturer who specialises in biomechanics (the science of explaining how the body moves and why it moves the way it does). We're excited to be working with Matthew as there is a huge gap in human movement and analysis within the Industry. This helps take RTB Perfromance closer to its goal of reaching out to as many people in the Sandwell area by providing expert knowledge to people who may have previously been let down by the "Fitness Industry" Welcome aboard Matthew.

Personal Training in my opinion (Kevin) is not just having someone to train you one to one. It's about assessing every single rep and correcting bad technique before it become a habit! It's about being able to design a nutrition and training programme based on their needs and adapting it along the way. It's about giving your client 100% of your attention to every single movement, muscle contraction and intention on how they move the weight and ensuring they are held accountable outside of their session. If your trainer isn't doing any of these things you are hiring a spectator not a coach. #TheBestYou #TheSpartanProject

Did you know that eating slow releasing carbs at night (oatmeal, sweet potatoes) can actually lower our stress levels.
