Lynstead House is a fine large Victorian house with five double bedrooms all en-suite and one single with its own private bathroom.  Linda and Gary McNeal have just taken over at Lynstead and are currently updating and repainting all over the house, we are very pleased with how its going and know you’ll like it too.

It’s a fine large Victorian house with five double bedrooms all en-suite and one single with its own private bathroom. At the back of Lynstead House is  car parking for all our guests ( a real bonus in a seaside town) plus a private garden, that you can enjoy, running down to the river Sid.

The rooms at the rear overlook the beautiful Byes Park, which offers our guests a lovely riverside level walk into town and the seafront.

Sidmouth town itself offers a great range of independent shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops, whilst heading westwards along the seafront, takes you directly up to Jacobs ladder and to  Connaught Gardens where you can enjoy a walk through its grounds with borders that overflow with shrubs and flowers and where, in the summer months, you can enjoy a Sunday concert by the local brass band from the comfort of a deck chair, plus its from these gardens you can take in the superb views of the town laid out below.
