All our boats are sparkly with Christmas trimmings and now Santa has his work cut out to see all the happy boaters that are planning to visit. Tickets have been selling like hot cakes in the past few weeks but with 4 boats operating from Tapton Lock. Hollingwood Hub, The Lock Keeper in Worksop and The Hop Pole in Retford there are still places left but please be quick to avoid disappointment

Today we have been remembering our friend and colleague David who brought so much energy and insight to The Trust. His passing has left a big hole in our team and in our hearts but we will all move forwards guided by the light his life brought into the world. Our thoughts are with his family.
Back in the early 1960's these youngsters were campaigning (In Clayworth) to keep The Chesterfield Canal open. The message is still as valid today. HS2 had better listen because those young kids have even more clout now they have grown up :) Many thanks to Ben Heaf (in the left of this photo) and his siblings for allowing us to use this family photo

Our car park at Hollingwood Hub will be closed from Monday 13th to Thursday 16th November for resurfacing. The shop, Cuckoo Café and Katey’s Coffee Shop will be open as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience
