Description
Darnall Football Academy: a grass roots football organisation engaging with young people to create social cohesion and future careers in football. The academy’s aims and objectives are:
• A healthy social and community cohesion, bringing young people from all different backgrounds together
• An ultimate goal of providing British Asian representation in the English Football League
• The development of local people to achieve their personal goals in being involved in sport and active recreation
• Education in football and life skills, character building, self-esteem and self confidence
• The development of positive role models in sport at all levels as participants, coaches and officials to inspire future generations
• Prevention of anti-social behaviour, drugs and alcohol, gang related violence

We won! Fantastic achievement by our under 11s beating Worsborough 3-0 in the 'Little Don Cup Final'. We've been on an amazing journey in our first season together, bringing together players from diverse backgrounds engaging them through the beautiful game. Well done to all players, parents and coaches!

One on one coaching by Sheffield Wednesday for our goal keepers at our new fantastic training ground at Olympic Legacy Park in Attercliffe. Fantastic local facilities and many thanks to the management team Joanna Madey-Khan without whom it would not have been possible. An exciting and brilliant occasion for the young people of Darnall! Looking forward to many more evenings like tonight alongside SWFC and Olympic Legacy Park!

Our magnificent Under 7s team winning the Under 8s Sheffield Power League tournament in December. A brilliant achievement, a massive well done to all the players. More to come!
***Reminder*** Our Saturday football sessions are back on. Every Saturday any child and every child is welcome from the ages of 5-16. Sessions are from 11am until 12.30pm. First time is free, thereafter it's £2 a session. Look forward to seeing everyone back from the winter break!
***Winter Break*** Due to cold weather, DFA is taking a break from the Saturday coaching sessions for two weeks. The next session will be Saturday 6th of January. Wishing everyone a happy and warm break!
