Welcome to Matt Stygall Guiding. I'm based in North Wales and run guided and instructional courses in the mountains of the uk and abroad. summer and winter I am a British Mountain Guide. A BMG is a member of the International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations (IFMGA), which is the body that coordinates the standards and mutual recognition of the twenty-six national mountain guide associations. A British Mountain Guide is an IFMGA Guide, which put simply, means an internationally qualified guide with the knowledge and skills to lead parties in the world’s most challenging mountain environments.
I also hold a MIC - Mountain Instructor Certifiate

High winds in the high mountain. We climbed the Aig. Du Peigne via Les Lepidopteres and the SW ridge and the Lepiney crack. The beer tasted good when we got back to Chamonix. International School of Mountaineering - ISM British Mountain Guides #MEclimbing.
Just catching up from the last three days. Friday's we climbed Le Snoopy in Ailefroide, a short walk was needed after the Ecrin. Saturday and Sunday we climbed on the point Adolphe ray(voie salluard) and the Le roi de siam (le lifting du roi) brilliant climbing, good summits and all good objectives with the threat of afternoon storms.International School of Mountaineering - ISM British Mountain Guides #MEclimbing
