Today we invited Rapid Electronics into school to demo Pepper, the next generation of educational robot from Aldebaran. Amazingly lifelike in its movement.
It's amazing how the 360 video looks prior to the software processing it. I've managed to export it so you can see behind the scenes.
Outreach at Sevenoaks School
Looking forward to the visit of Pepper the robot on Friday this week. Rapid Electronics are bringing her to the school for a demonstration of what she can do. We will be evaluating whether this smart piece of innovative technology can be incorporated into our school curriculum and/or Outreach offerings.

Superb - don't forget that if your school does not have any of the micro:bits yet, you can have a free 'outreach pack' with a class set sent to you for a couple of weeks, complete with teacher notes. The pack is currently being enjoyed by Wateringbury School until the end of term. If you would like to use it then please do get in touch and keep an eye out for more of these resources becoming available on the Sevenoaks School Outreach FB page.
