A boutique hotel, pub and grill house set in the heart of the historic city, within walking distance from Salisbury Cathedral and close to Stonehenge. Situated in the heart of historic Salisbury, The Chapter House comprises a cosy restaurant, friendly pub and comfortable letting rooms and lies within easy reach of some of Southern England’s most important landmarks.

The stone for the Salisbury Cathedral, a mere five minute walk away, was cut in what is now the restaurant, making the hotel’s initial construction almost 800 years old. Some of the original stone and ironwork is still left exposed inside the property.

The 17 boutique rooms are all unique and quirky, some with original panelling and fireplaces and all with fluffy goose down duvets, Egyptian cotton linen, luxurious toiletries and flatscreen TVs. Rooms vary from spacious and luxurious executive rooms to family suites, double rooms and twin rooms. All rooms are en-suite, however some offer showers, some baths and some a combination of the two. Please specify when booking if you have particular preference.

The Chapter House boasts a bustling restaurant and grillhouse where flame grilled steaks, a la carte dining and hearty pub food are served in an ambient environment. The hotel offers 3 private dining areas and is suitable for weddings, meetings and gatherings. The delicious Sunday roast is not to be missed!
