Bandrum hosted the Scottish Care branch meeting this week for all Care Home and Care at Home providers in Fife. It was a really interesting meeting with Alison Watt from TCAT (Transforming Care after Treatment for those with Cancer) speaking and Donald Macaskill, CEO, Scottish Care presenting his National Tour. Scottish Care is a national body that lobbies and negotiates on behalf of all care providers. Bandrum support the national group by running and hosting Fife meetings. Bandrum just showed their support to help Renee Foy as she raises funds to keep Oakley Social Club open. The residents and staff have had many fun events in the club and we'd really like to help it stay open. Hi everyone i'm delighted to announce Brightside Community Cafe will be launching their befriending service (funded through the postcode lottery) on 27th October 2017 2 - 4pm. Please come along and celebrate the launch with us. Thanks you so much to everyone who came to our fete today. Special thanks also to everyone who helped we couldn't of done it without you. It was a huge success with more people coming than we've ever had before and I can't quite believe that the rain stopped and the sun shone from 2pm onwards.
