Hello everyone! It is time for my August post. Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank-you to all my fantastic bailiffs. You have blown me away with your hard-work and tireless efforts to help keep the lake free of weed. We have tried a new method and it seems to be working well. The extremes of weather have kept the fishermen on their toes. Some of the A team fish have been elusive but I am positive we will see some good catches in August. I also want to say a big thank you to Danny Walsh at CarpGlobal. His team are helping me to bring their feed programme to the lake which is encouraging the fish to gain weight. Just a reminder that CarpGlobal are still offering 'The Thursday deal'. This is where you can fish for a reduced fee if you book directly through CarpGlobal's website. Just something to keep in mind: The fishery will always allow all paying fishermen, without prejudice, to fish the lake unless they break the rules. The fishery will not tolerate bullying of any kind towards fellow fisherman. This, including any other breaking of rules, will result in a ban. The Team and I are working hard to push the lake to where it needs to be. We wish to move into the season of Autumn on a happy note. ''NEW FISH'', which include at least one fully scaled mirror, are set to arrive at some point during the next season. Evening all, really hope you are enjoying what me and the team are doing on the lake. Been some really nice catch reports which we put on our Instagram page Mossnooklake.(worth a look!) Big shout out to my three bailiffs Nigel,Keith and Sheralyn who work really hard to keep things ticking over. we are getting on top of the weed with a few swims needing a bit more attention( so glad we have 9) we will be very much where we want to be by the end of the month.All be it with a bit of weed as that is the way i like it??......On a lighter not the fish continue to gain weight and are responding well to the feed programme(supplied from carp Global)...BIG thank you to Danny Walsh and the team from Carp Global who we are working with to bring you better deals ect. Hi all, been a good month with some nice fish on the bank, this warmer weather is getting them moving. The dye seems to be keeping the weed down. lots of clear areas opening up. So far in 2019 we have had 3 new 20's (from old stock) visit the bank, and plenty catching them up!! Really hoping to get the carp moving towards 30's by the end of the year?
