Update on The Plough Our kitchens will be CLOSED from Monday 5th March until we re-open in the early Summer. The pub and bar will remain OPEN at the CURRENT opening times until 18th March. We will be showing the SIX NATIONS on St Patrick’s Day (17th March) with an outdoor BBQ serving Hedges Farm Sausages & Burgers available all day :) 🍔 The Plough will then close whilst we have some redecoration and a new kitchen installed and will re-open early SUMMER 2018 Please keep an eye on this page for updates

Pubs in St Albans are facing enormous rates increases which will be the end of the Independent pub scene in St Albans and beyond. Places like Wetherspoons can spread the cost across 900 sites where as single pub owners have no option. This makes for a devastating future of our pub scene. In Colney Heath 2 pubs have recently gone and St Albans City lost 10% of Pubs last year. We cannot let this trend continue to happen. Please sign this petition and share :-)
