Top Award winning Welsh Karate Academies do it again! The top award winning John Lynn’s Black Belt Academies North Wales, the largest and most successful Karate & Kickboxing Academies in Rhyl and Colwyn Bay have just returned from the International Black Belt and Martial Arts Illustrated Martial Arts Awards Ceremony held in Rhyl over the weekend with yet another clutch of awards. They were the only Martial Arts Academies in Rhyl & Colwyn Bay to receive the awards. With martial arts instructors from all over Britain (England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and Europe attending the invitation only awards ceremony competition for the awards was tough, but John Lynn’s Black Belt Academies came away six awards: Award for Instructors who have made a difference in their communities by being exemplary Instructors and Role models: Renshi Mark Sciberras 4th Dan Renshi Tracey Walker 4th Dan Sensei Tommy Hughes 3rd Dan Sempai Steve Parker 1st Dan Sempai Olivia Sciberras Program Director Special Award for services to the Martial Arts over the last 40+ years: Master Instructor John Lynn Kyoshi 8th Dan The awards were presented by World famous Brian Jacks, Olympic Judo Medalist who flew in specially for the awards from Thailand and Bob Sykes Editor of the international magazine ‘Martial Arts Illustrated’ Master Instructor John Lynn 8th Dan, the highest graded Shukokai Karate Instructor in Wales puts the success at the awards ceremony down to the fantastic team we have at the Academies and our unique programs that specialize in teaching children and adults life skills, character development, fitness and self-defence..
