We had a group visit after the normal end of the day that also had the Cagney setting off for its holiday at Kirklees light railway gala on 14th and 15th sept. Time was also found to add the extensions to coach 12 so its now up to the right width and today we can fix the frame work down and sort out the final two doors.
Well its getting close now, the end of daily running for summer hols so get your rides in quick. We are open till sunday 1030 till 4 with a steam engine pulling the trains for the last three days. We are then open every weekend in sept too and sundays in oct.
Well two mins late but only just seen the email but today, bank hol monday Sarah had a certain birthday. Being a gentleman im not going to say which one....oh never mind lol

Well as promised here is the something new that is coming together after two days working. This is coach 12, which is our new enclosed guards coach which also will be able to take wheel chairs. This will mean that we will be able to havd a fully enclosed train with everyone under cover when it is finished. There is still a lot to sort so will be aimed to enter service next year.
Trains in the sun
Well its the start of the Bank holiday weekend so steam trains running through till Monday and then one last week of midweek trains for school hols. By the time Im finished on sunday something new will be appearing......
