Excitement is brewing in the Yorke household .... menu plans are coming together ready for our annual Eurovision inspired buffet to accompany the viewing of the Eurovision Song Contest Final on TV tomorrow evening. All menu items have to be in some way related to foods from the countries represented in the final. Not too bad for Countries like Italy, Spain, Belgium etc, however, some are proving a little more tricky like Moldova, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria! If you have any ideas then please do share them!!

The excitement in our house is at its peak. Amazon delivered Star Wars Rogue One this afternoon and we have settled down to watch it with home made popcorn flavoured with butter and MSK delicious vanilla sugar!! May the force be with you!!

The sun is out and it is BBQ time! Last night was chicken kebabs marinated in our Lime Oil & Tzatziki Dip mix plus Veg Kebabs marinated in our Piccante Mexican Oil and Pizza Spice Blend. Yummy cous cous containing Baba Ghanoush Dip Mix, Beetroot Dip and Tzatziki Dip too. Pudding was a twist on Eton Mess made using Greek yoghurt instead of cream,blueberries, blackberries, crushed meringue a sprinkle of Sorbet White Choc Powder and Black Forest Dukkah. Easy to make and super delish too!

If you are looking to swerve a torrent of chocolate eggs this Easter but still want a sweet gift this could be the answer. My "ninja bread man" gift set! Today my boys decided that they were NOT going to eat fruit! Thankfully my White Red Velvet Chocolate Powder came to the rescue. I whizzed up a punnet of chopped strawberries with 2 tbsp of the White Red Velvet Chocolate Powder, half a chopped banana and topped up with full fat milk. The milkshake was devoured in seconds! The best bit is that as well as the "Secret" banana they also had "Secret" beetroot as this is what gives the chocolate powder its lovely pink colour. I call that a win:win in my book!!

A fabulous easy dessert stunner by Mary Berry which can be very easily adapted to use our chocolate powders instead of the melted chocolate that she uses in this clip. Quick and easy to make but do it in advance of when you need it as it will need to rest in the fridge overnight.

This quick and easy recipe by Lazy Cat Kitchen works really well with our chocolate powders. All our chocolate powders are vegetarian friendly with most of the darker coloured powders being dairy free but please do check the ingredients label or check with me if you want to be sure which ones work for a Vegan diet.

Who says pancakes have to be sweet? I added our Salsa Dip Mix to the batter before cooking and served flat with salad leaves, chopped tomatoes, a drizzle of Caramelised Balsamic, Piccante Mexican Oil and a twist of Smoked Orange Garlic & Chilli Salt with Parmesan shavings. Delicious! So quick to make - I think it has taken me longer to do this post!
