Last day of the school year! I would like to thank everyone for their support of the Parent Council throughout the year. Whithout the support of the school and parents we wouldn't achieve a fraction of what's needed to help our children. Thank you to all the Parent Council members who give up their time to come along to the meetings and get involved in the various projects throughout the year. Jillian, Laura, Candice and Michelle thank you for all your help and support on the committee. A special thank you to Jillian for organising the discos and to Fiona and Candice who not only organised the Fete (with the help of lots of willing volunteers) but also manage to find time to do the school uniform orders throughout the year as well - YOU ARE STARS! Finally on behalf of the Parent Council I'd like to wish Cathy Russell from the school office a very happy retirement, she was a great asset to the school and we will all miss you. South Ayrshire Council's 6 week summer activity programme including free swimming... 💦☀️

Hi. The Parent Council have applied for £1000 from the Community funding event being held at Monkton Primary school on Saturday (17th) between 10am and Noon. We are looking to provide the school with iPads and a docking station for Mrs Henderson to use during music lessons. The Parent Council will be contributing additional funds towards the project. We will be competing with other groups looking for funds for their projects so we need as many parents and children over 10 as possible to come along and vote for us. So, the most important count of the week is done and we're very excited to announce the total raised at the Glenburn Primary summer fete is..... £3888.01 A huge thank you to all involved in organising, helping on the night, parents, teachers and of course the wonderful Glenburn pupils. It was lost by one of the parent helpers on the toy stall and we would like to try very hard to reunite it with it's owner. We have glow in the dark fidget spinners and emoji balls for sale this year on our toy stall 😍😎😊 If your up for a challenge this year then please feel free to enter our fittest parent / child competition. We can't wait to award the winner 💪🏻💪🏻🏅🏅 We will have our very own pop up photo booth with fun props for you and your friends, with a professional photographer on site taking photos for £2 🎥🎥🎥we think this will be lots of fun!!!
