Learn the basics of the addictive art of modern frame loom weaving by creating a unique wall hanging for your home. Stephanie from Le Petit Moose will be teaching a beginner frame loom weaving class in Portsoy. It's a great creative way to spend an afternoon with like-minded individuals, as you learn how to create your own handwoven wall hanging. During the course of the 3.5hr (approx) workshop, you'll learn how to warp your loom, create shapes, different stitches, adding fringe and finishing techniques. The workshop includes:- -Frame loom for use during the class -Weaving tools -Beginner weaving instructions -Warp thread and enough yarn to complete your piece Limited spaces are available on Sunday 29th October 2017. The workshop will run from 12noon until 3pm-3.30pm approx. Cost:- £31 per person. This includes all the materials to make yourself a beautiful woven wall hanging. You can, IN ADDITION, (if you so wish), also purchase a take home weaving kit at a special rate of £30 (rrp £34) - cash only Deposit:- £20 to secure your place on the workshop. 🍸Today we had a very exciting event in the shop🍸 Two Crafty Mice liked our wedding themed window so much they decided to have their wedding here! We had of course the new Mr & Mrs Mouse, the bridesmice, a grooms mouse, the rest of the mouse family and even the Vikings got in the act. All dressed in their finest accessories. What a day it was. 💕
