Closing delivery ceremony to the Indian Navy of the first JFD rescue submarine today in Glasgow. A wonderful day with one resounding message: As beautiful and effective as she is, let's hope we never have to deploy her in a serious event mission. Good Job Team!

JFD Submarine No.1 is now nearing completion in Scotland with a planned ceremony taking place on 23rd February. Here are some pictures of the rescue sub close to the end of the build.

The first of 3 St. George canopies for the Blackfriars One 54 storey skyscraper in London were installed yesterday. It looked like something from a Sci-fi movie being unloaded and located into place. Thanks to Steve Golding and James Bottoms for their support all day in the freezing cold.

We’ve been digging through some old photos this week, in preparation for an exciting project in the new year, and came across a newly built shiny Unit 43... look out for a few more photos in future weeks.

Earlier this week we were pleased to welcome representatives from one of our clients to quality check the tanks on a rescue submarine we are building – thankfully they were waterproof – phew!

Earlier this week we despatched the final work boat deck to ASV. There is still some on-site work to be done joining the deck to the hull, but as far as our production commitment is concerned we are finished. This has been a challenging but rewarding and significant project for Norco and a big thank you is due to all the team that worked on it.

This week the project team have put a massive amount of effort into getting the first 'One Blackfriars' entrance canopy completely polished ready for the customer to come and inspect. The team have done a brilliant job and the results are better than we could have ever expected.

Another champion product produced by Norco, this time for a World Champion! ECB Cold Spas are produced at Norco from start to finish, incorporating the laminated GRP stage through to final assembly and testing.
