As i have said to many of my clients, warming down and stretching are an important part of your life not just your workout, it is quite easy to miss that even sitting at a desk while at work is working your body, your muscles are constantly engaged to keep you upright and all the twisting motions, supporting the arms whilst using your computer etc, if you think about what you do at work every day and what you are doing with your body you will understand why your muscles feel fatigued or tight, Holistic massage will relieve this but stretching during the day and/ or attending a stretch class once a week will help to reduce the effects of muscle fatigue and prolong the effects of your treatment, there are also many other benefits to stretching as listed on the leaflet from a recommended local stretch class below.
