Well if this is what you find in Albert's Barn then we want to be his friend. :-) An eclectic mix of funky, chic and quirky objects many sourced whilst the trader was living in Canada - that's what you will find in Albert's Barn. The name is a tribute to Sue's Dad who started her off with her love of collecting and as you can see, he was a very good influence. We really love the style - and the occasional really quirky object you'll find in our little barn.

We haven't done a general set of pictures for a while so how about a Wednesday wander? There's something for all ages - all you have to do is look and see. No matter if you are looking for something to buy for yourself or a unique and quirky gift we've got all angles covered in The Emporium. :-)

Tuesday and it's the turn of Past Imperfect taking the stage. These guys take old pieces of furniture and breathe new life into them with stunning hand painted designs. Sue's background as a watercolour artist really shows in the skilled lettering and artwork on these pieces - no stencils used here just years of developing a very steady hand!!! :-) If you're looking for a personalised piece Sue can do that for you too - just pop in and see the quality of the work from Past Imperfect - now what would you like on your piece?

Lots of our regulars will recognise Humphrey the hippo (as he is now called) who has been gracing our till area attracting lots of admiring pats for the last few months, well Humphrey has now been re-homed. :-) So this was a sneaky one - Hubby popped in during the week and secretly purchased Humphrey - there were tears when his wife realised she was the one getting to take him home. So happy he has gone where he will be truly loved. <3

A carpet of virgin snow on the car park - now do we open the shop or just spend the day building snowmen?!!!

Harry is a talented young designer who was (according to his parents) 'born with a chisel in his hand'. Harry took a degree in Contemporary Furniture Design before taking time out to travel the world and now creates one off pieces using recycled materials reflecting the craftsmanship he witnessed on his travels with his own contemporary design flair.
