One night in Malaga with Vanesa Segovia, who worked here with us and has become a dearest friend, and with Richard and sophie from Pitlochry whom I bumped into at Los Gatos when I was hoping to eat some jamon alone 😉. I owe you two a good drink, thank you for a great unexpected moment ! Some amazing wines from that region, which is a a nice change instead of the always predictable riojas and Ribera del duero.

Sunday past in Madrid with Jesus our previous head chef. The paella was brilliant once again.

Last reminder that Sante will close after tonight service for a few days of holidays. I am going to Madrid (that's for those who seem to think I am going to court, Perth gossip at its best, what a laugh), Jaime is in Sevilla, and most of the kitchen boys are going camping ! So if you want to have your usual tapas fix for the next few days (sounds like we're selling drugs but really the pork belly has got a few people addicted), then it's today or not until Saturday the 29th just on time for Halloween !
