Kilmac Construction Ltd are now recognised as one of Scotland's leading Civil Engineering & Building Contractors. Working predominantly within the Central belt, undertaking projects ranging from £50,000 to £10 million. We are currently working with main contractors undertaking groundworks packages including schools and hospitals. We are also working with local authorities constructing roads and structures and high spec streetscape works. Kilmac are now on all Central Scotland's Local Authority approved contractor lists.
Employing over 60 permanent staff living in the Perthshire, Dundee, Angus, Fife and Stirlingshire areas, the company operates primarily in the central belt but has followed clients both North and South.
Kilmac prides itself on delivery of a professional service adding value to any project it is involved in. To ensure this the construction team are made up of Project Managers, Engineers with a technical background assisted by Foreman experienced in the daily site workings. In addition, the contracts team work closely with the surveying department to ensure the projects are not only delivered on time but within budget.
The company takes pride in it's safety record to date. As part of our continual improvement programme we are continually investing in training our workforce.
The company now employs a Quality Manager, as part of our zero defect policy. His role is to oversee quality management systems on site to ensure our zero defect policy is delivered. Additionally, our Quality Manager has been developing our site processes in line with Lean Management Construction. We trialled our new Lean Management process systems successfully on a £2 million roadworks partnership contract with Dundee City Council and Tayside Contracts. We now encorporate Lean Management Systems in all our projects.
