facebook.comWhat a difference a day makes! From pouring rain to blue skies and sunshine, I know which I prefer! On our first walk we bumped into our lovely Labrador friend Bruno who joined us for a play. Ayeisha had a spring in her step and was clearly enjoying the sunshine as you can see from her happy face. Morrissey was delighted to be out with his friends and bounced his way round our walk. As we were heading back to our van we met the Finnegans Walk bunch and stopped for a chat but as we were all back on leads I had to break the news to my Group that we couldn’t stop to play. I don’t think that went down well so I promised that we would see them again soon for a walk together. Jackson and his Gran Angela joined us on our second walk today with Calvin,Poppy,Penny and Milo. While we were out we bumped into our chums from Tails ‘n’ Trails. Milo was over the moon to see his big friend Eros and had a great time playing with him.
We set off in the sunshine this morning and by the time we got to the top of the path the heavens had opened and the three Scotties plus Calvin were all soggy doggies. Poppy followed Rufus around the Braes and had him running like a puppy. Ayeisha was feeling a little poorly today and needed some TLC from the rest of the Group including her brother Barkley. Max is going for a haircut this afternoon so our shaggy dog will be all spruced up for his walk on Monday. Dylan decided to look for trolls under the bridge but luckily for us we didn’t find any. Penny and Milo finished our day with a walk at Windy Hill where they both lived up to its name as we were all extremely windswept.
We bumped into our friends Mandy and Tansy when we were out early this morning and they joined us for the last half of our walk which was lovely. On our next outing we met our friend Daisy who just loves chasing her ball. After chatting for a while we carried on with our walk as everyone was keen to make the most of their time together. Lola was desperate to show all of her friends how to roll down every hill and slope. There was romance in the air on our next walk as Barkley teamed up with Millie while Charlie and Ayeisha strolled along together. Milo and Penny bounced out of the van when they saw that their friends Bo and Angus were out to play and as you can see they all ran until they were dizzy. When I dropped Milo and Penny home you can see that Milo seemed to have a big smile on his face so I think he had good fun.
Golden Millie and Calvin woke the three sleepy Scotties up and whisked them off for a play up the Braes. We then met up with Ayeisha,Barkley and Millie. Golden Millie obviously thought that little Millie was being responsible today and didn’t keep a hold of her quite as much as yesterday. Just as we were getting our leads on to go back to the van we saw Sheree and her dogs from Tails’n’ Trails and walked back with them. The three Spaniels bumped into our lovely friends Bramble and Nico when they were out for their walk and both came running over to say hello. As you can see they were all rewarded with a treat from Morag which was very kind of her and she even gave us some away for the girls to get at the end of their walk. We made a new friend when Calvin, Penny and Charlie were out on our final walk and his name is Dylan . He is a lovely older boy and both him and his dad joined us on our walk.We were very lucky as the rain came on just as we arrived back at the van so we didn’t get wet.
Max and Dylan spotted a lovely rainbow over Paisley this morning, what a nice way to start the week. Golden Millie was determined to keep a close eye on our little Millie and kept a tight hold of her long line until she was quite happy that Millie was sticking with the Group. I have to say little Millie was quite bemused and was playing beautifully with us, I think Golden Millie was just being over cautious. Charlie was then out with his ‘Angels’Millie and Callie for some fun and games and kept me on my toes throwing balls for them. To finish our afternoon Morag met up with us bringing Bo and Angus to play with Millie and Poppy. Poppy was not impressed at all that I made her wear a ‘boys’ coat when the rain came on.
It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed seeing the sun. We met up early with Marj and the Scotties before it had peeped it’s head out but it didn’t stay hidden for long. On our next walk we bumped into Sheree with her Group Tails ‘n’ Trails and joined them all for part of our walk. Everyone had great fun together and played happily as we chatted. As we headed out on our next adventure we heard our very good friend Bramble’s bark and then saw him running up to us with his cousin Nico in tow. He was very patient when Golden Millie kept stealing his ball even though her mum had restocked us with lots of new balls. Millie,Callie,Golden Millie and Penny all enjoyed playing with them and were disappointed when I said that it was time to say goodbye to their friends. To finish the day neighbours Golden Millie and Poppy scampered about the Braes while Calvin and Charlie preferred to take things at a slower pace.
Charlie usually likes a long lie however we persuaded him to get up early today and go for a walk with Poppy and Calvin. He certainly seemed to enjoy himself and even went for a paddle. Max and Dylan are back from their long weekend break and looking very well from their holiday. It was then up the Braes where we did a bit of exploring with Rufus,Ayeisha,Barkley,Poppy and Millie. This included a scramble up rocks as we do like to challenge ourselves. Golden Millie messaged us in the morning to ask if she could join us for an extra walk as it was a nice day and she wanted to come out and play. Poppy, Calvin and Charlie were delighted that she wanted to join us and all said a big ‘Yes’ .We had a great walk and gathered up friends on our way. First it was Marj and the three Scotties and then as we walked on we bumped into Susan with her two Spaniel Girls, Mandy and Tansy. It really did turninto a lovely sociable afternoon.
We do love an early start to our day and that’s exactly what we had this morning.Poppy and Calvin joined the three Scotties for a morning walk at Sergeants Law and all of us were very pleased that we didn’t need our coats for a change. It was then off to Brownside Farm via Glen Park where the Group all stretched their legs and had lots of fun trying to outrun each other. It was difficult to get photos on our next walk as Lola and her pals were running at 100 miles an hour however Mac and his wife our other Lola did stop long enough to pose for me ( a small treat bride may have helped) Poppy finished off her busy day by accompanying Calvin and Charlie on a late afternoon stroll at the top of the Braes so I think she may be a tired little girl tonight.
We were lucky to be joined by lots of our friends today. On our first walk we met up with Marj and the three Scottie girls . It was very wet and windy and that seemed to make Calvin’s legs do funny things which Poppy found very amusing. Millie had a windswept and interesting look when we visited the Braes and Ayeisha was very nearly lifted up like the house in The Wizard of Oz . Everyone had great fun chasing each other and the wind certainly seemed to make them run even faster than usual. In the afternoon Charlie,Millie and Poppy joined Morag and her lovely dogs, Bo and Angus for a great walk at the top of the Braes. I think that Millie is a little in love with Angus. Little Charlie did really well keeping up with the bigger dogs whose legs are at least four times longer than his. He had great fun and loved being out with his friends.
We were all so excited to see the sun pop its head out and when we had a word it promised to make a few appearances this week! Poppy joined the 3 Scotties on our first walk and we had a lovely Monday stroll together. We then headed to Glen Park where Barkley and Poppy went for a little paddle although they do look as if the water is a bit chilly. Ayeisha and Calvin chose to cross the stream using the bridge. To finish our day we headed to the top of the Braes where we bumped into our friend Bramble the Border Collie who joined Millie,Callie,Charlie and Poppy for a walk and play. It is always lovely to have company when we are out and the Group really enjoy when their friends join them.
Such a lovely day visiting my sister Helen and Tom. We couldn’t resist a cuddle with the pups . Aren’t they beautiful? Old lady Sophie the Border Terrier joined us on our walk and was then happy to pose for her photo. 🐾💕
It may have been Friday the 13th however I am happy to report that we managed to enjoy our walks with the only bad luck being the weather which was very wet and misty . I was very glad that Milo,Penny and Calvin were wearing their bright coats as it was so gloomy first thing and it made it much easier for me to spot them . As we headed back to the van Milo spotted his three Scottie friends Maggie,Maisie and Tillie with the Spaniels, Mandy and Tansy so we just had to stop and say hello. Ayeisha was looking very pretty in pink while Penny enjoyed playing with Barkley and Poppy, all of them totally oblivious to their little friend who was fishing for compliments.Millie was happy to smile for the camera while Callie and Poppy preferred to chase after the new ball that we took out with us today.
