Morning all, we've had 3 messages asking are we open this weekend. Can we just remind you that we host MX Club meetings, we do not offer a turn up and ride facility. Sorry to disappoint but we are governed by our planning permission from the Council. We've no events scheduled, and we are currently under water. Here's some photos taken earlier this month which led sadly to the cancellation of Newtons meeting last weekend

As you will have seen from Newton LW MX post, this weekends meeting has been cancelled. The track has had many hours spent on it, and it was graded and in full race condition, but sadly the weather has been against us all and the volume of rainfall has caused the track to become waterlogged. With the best will in the world we cannot beat the weather. We are as sorry as the club members that the Carl Hughes Memorial Race cannot go ahead, we know he loved this track and it means a lot to you all. It's not the way we wanted your season to end, but unfortunately it is out of our hands. We hope you have a fantastic presentation evening, and look forward to the new season ahead.

You may have received notification that Coco Moto-Supply have checked in at our track ready for tomorrow's race. We have no event taking place tomorrow, please do not make plans to come along to watch as you will be sorely disappointed. Thank you 😊 The event is at Eskham House, Preston AMCA meeting, if you fancy watching 👍

Plenty of hours are going into maintenance after Newtons successful race weekend. Jumps are being refaced and the surface of the whole track is being worked on a daily basis, both over the weekend and evenings after 'the day job'. Next meeting is Bolton on August 13th. Safe riding wherever you are 😊🏍🏆

On a serious note, we would like to make one thing very clear. We do not own the land that surrounds us. Last meeting there were complaints from our neighbour of people walking dogs on his freshly sown crops and another on his hay pasture. I'm sure you will understand his frustration, and would ask that you do not go on any land EXCEPT the Motocross Site and the Day Visitor Parking field. You are most welcome to walk your dogs around the parking field, it's got plenty of space to explore. The woods at the back however do not belong to us, again please keep out of this area. Also at the last meeting grease was smeared all over a generator that belongs to the training company who rent our land. The machinery, scaffolding & equipment are completely OUT OF BOUNDS. Anyone found tampering, climbing etc will (as a family) be escorted off the site and banned from any future meetings at this track. These points apply to everyone, committee or otherwise. Please help us by respecting our neighbours property. Thank you

The first thing you will notice is the old house has been demolished! Day visitors need to park on the field behind it please, entry as shown on this video. The gate on the access road / track will be locked I believe, although access on foot is available. Please do not park anywhere on the access road, it must be kept clear for medics. Thank you
