Going fast!

Good to see our friend Anthony Hyde today, taking a short rest before entering the final phase of training for the 5-day, 230K Jungle Ultra in Peru in June. Anthony currently serves in the 3rd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment & is running for the 'Support Our Paras' charity. We are open as usual this weekend with the exception of Easter Sunday. New spring/summer ranges from Craft & RONHILL recently arrived.

Getting set up for this evenings Brooks ‘try on’ Social Run Group!

It’s looking like it will be dry for this evenings Social Run Group from the shop (7pm) and we can guarantee that we will have daylight. This evenings route will be a gentle one with a trip to Alexandra Park, a lap of the park and back to the shop (5K’ish). Just a reminder that Ross our Brooks rep will be joining us with a range of very nice ‘try on’ shoes to take for a test run. If you wish to test shoes please arrive a couple of minutes early. Cheers!

We will be hosting the rearranged Brooks ‘try on’ Run at tomorrow’s weekly Social Run Group (Tues 7pm). Ross from Brooks will be here with try on shoes for you to borrow, available will be the new Levitate (neutral) and Transcend 5 (support). If you wish to run in your own shoes that is not a problem. See you tomorrow for a run in actual daylight! 🤪

Dogs On A Treadmill - The Return Of Cyril! Regulars may well recognise Cyril from our post a few months ago. Anyway, Cyril has been back in to tell us how his training is going for the Canicross half marathon at Nottingham later this year. Cyril finished 2nd in last years race and you sense from his eyes that he has unfinished business. Good luck Cyril!
