Hello, As of the 1st January 2018 Fairway Lodge will be permanently closed as we look to take a rest and retire from running a successful bed and breakfast. Our success has all been thanks to our valued customers and we'd like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your support and custom over the last 11 years. We have many wonderful memories. This bird tried to join us in the kitchen this morning by flying into the window. We think its a Merlin, some sort of Falcon unless anyone knows better

Yesterday a planned stay by the members of Bucks Fizz. Cheryl Baker, Jay Aston, Mike Nolan, Bobby McVay. and their support team, a nicer group of people you couldn't wish to meet. They had a gig in Redruth last night which went very well. Hopefully we will see them again soon. According to Cheryl the stay was so much better than a hotel. Thanks for that

We had our overnight secret inspection last night. All appears well and our 4star rating is safe. It is great to know that our guests and Visit England think we are doing ok. A big thank you to everyone.

The BBC arrived this week with Jules Hudson from Escape to the Country. They were to film for Country File but the weather was not kind to them and upset their planning. They had to make a return trip. It was nice to meet him and Bonnie enjoyed the attention, playing up to them with her broken leg.

Another season is upon us. We would like to thank all our guests for their support and we look forward to seeing you again this year.
