... on a one hour journey starting from Oban's Railway Pier next to the train station. Aboard "MV Purple Heather" you sail across Oban Bay past Dunollie Castle and Hutchinson's Monument on Kerrera to the seal colony in the Firth of Lorne to include open views on Mull and Lismore.

Along the way there's an abundance of wildlife to spot like all kinds of sea birds, of course seals basking in their natural unspoilt surroundings, and here and there even dolphins - all set in the beautiful and stunning scenery of the Scottish West Coast. The gallery above will give you a first glance.

Allan's commentary throughout will give you a good insight in local, history and nature aspects spiced with a few good laughs and anecdotes.
