Oban's 1st Steps Day Nursery
Description
At Oban's 1st Steps Nursery we strive to create an environment within which our children and families feel happy, content, safe and valued.
The children in our nursery spend their day under the guidance of our qualified and caring nursery practitioners, in a happy and secure environment.
Our children follow a daily routine specifically designed to include time for free choice and group activities, both inside and outside play in our lovely garden with areas for exploration, discovery and growing:)
Inside this lovely old school we have our sunny and light Baby Room with floor to ceiling conservatory and windows and where the children can join us from 3 months old. The children delight in gazing through the windows; at the twinkling stars in the night sky, the slow pace as the snow flakes drift down in the winter sky, floating leaves as they graze the windows, watch birds nervously feed of the window feeders and enjoy the warm sunshine as it radiates through the room.
A large bright Tweenie Room for children from 2 to 3 years where they enjoy exploring and playing in the home corner, feeding the nursery fish or cuddling up with a story.
The main building houses our Pre-School room where children from 3 to 5 years old enjoy a large selection of activities, resources and free play and learn to play and explore alongside their friends.
Outside we have a large garden where the children learn about the outdoors and a secure paved area for pedal toys.
Full day sessions run from 8am to 6pm and the nursery is open throughout the year, closing only for two weeks at Christmas / New Year and for bank and public holidays.
