Tried to go live and talk about taking a quick nap as we celebrate world sleep day.... I mean that is probably the best day I’ve ever heard of! However, Avi didn’t agree that it was the best time to sleep... don’t we all know that feeling. I’m talking about making your nap into a ritual so you can give yourself that space to be calm. It didn’t work but hopefully it will in about 20 mins when he wears himself out 🤪🤯😴

Family Yoga is so AWESOME! In a world where parents and children are so busy, family yoga provides a wonderful place to spend healthy and happy, quality time together. No mobile phones, no iPads or TV, no other duties…it’s just you and your children. You might be surprised, but that does not happen often in the 21st century. Family is so important, and time and care are needed to nurture it and make it work; yoga is perfect for this! Children, parents, and even grandparents get to enjoy practicing yoga together and strengthen their bonds while they support each other and have fun through a serious of gentle stretching, partner postures and interactive story telling even the grown ups will enjoy! Being so busy keeping the kids safe, telling them what to do and what not to do, many parents have become way to serious! (I am exaggerating…but just a bit.) So this is my favourite thing about Family Yoga: it teaches parents how to play! Classes are booked in half-term blocks. Class details below: Saturday 11.15-12pm Salisbury House Arts Centre Bury Street West N9 9LA Dates Saturday 21 April 2018 Saturday 28 April 2018 Saturday 5 May 2018 Saturday 12 May 2018 Saturday 19 May 2018 Saturday 26 May 2018 £60 per family (Parent + 1 child) £66 per family (Parent + 2 Child) £78 per family (Parent +3 Child) **You can bring an extra family member/friend (child/parent) on the day and pay £4 drop in - please check that there is availabilty beforehand by calling 07540374910 **

Yoga for children improves posture, flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. Yoga is non-competitive and helps develop social skills and imagination and increases concentration, confidence and is above all fun! Yoga for children offers a positive balance for those actively involved in sport and dance and can help reduce stress and anxiety. The classes for older children and teenagers, while fun and creative, are quieter and structured more similarly to an adult class. Many of those actively involved in competitive sports and dance find yoga a positive counterbalance. Sessions are booked per half term £30 and run for 30 minutes per week.
