Roofing Specialist I actually started roofing in 1978, about 3 months before my 13th birthday. I used to work every weekend and every single school holiday with my Dad who taught me.
I left school in May 1982 and went straight to work the very next day. I became self-employed when I was 17 and by the time I was 18, I was doing complete roofs on quite large detached houses etc on my own.
I went on to establish, own and run one of the biggest roofing companies in Northampton.
I have now down-sized and am keeping it simple. But I can still carry out any roofing job, from a simple repair to re-roofing a large country house.

Well I have to say, this was a first for me. I had to replace a complete ridge line and while I was taking off the old ridge, I came across this little gem. At some point someone must have thought that replacing a broken ridge tile with 2 halves of an old tin can was a good idea! 🙈🙄🤣
