Good morning all, Apologies for being so quiet over here. If you didn't know I've moved all of my sewing related orders & makes over to my new page The Stitching Fox Handmade by Harrison will be for all my non-sewing related items - including metal stamped keepsakes, jewellery etc. I felt as though I needed to make the decision on what side of my business to really focus on and Sewing won. Sebastian's Gift Auction Night (14/01/17)

Good evening fabulous people, The week is just flying past and on Saturday this amazing event is taking place - ONLINE... No need to get dressed... You can shop from the comfort of your own sofa with a glass of your chosen beverage in hand... Saturday 14th @ 7pm the Auction Night for Sebastian kicks off... Over 50 small businesses have donated items that they make to this wonderful event. Bidding starts at 7pm and the bids are starting at just £1 !! WOW!! There are SO MANY gorgeous items it really is an event not to be missed. This auction night is in aid of Seb, a truly amazing little boy who at 7 months old was diagnosed with a Wills Tumour (Kidney Cancer). After 2months of treatment and the removal of the tumour he was given the all clear. Unfortunately 9 months on the cancer came back this time in his lung. He is currently undergoing 6 months of Chemo and Radio Therapy. His amazing family Mum, Dad and sister have never asked for anything, in fact his dad has raised over £13K for charity. They take it in turns to take him to hospital as they both have full time jobs and his sister to care for. We are looking to raise fund towards a family trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Florida. Good afternoon beautiful people, I'm currently in the process of splitting this page in two... Handmade by Harrison will be staying and it's where my hand stamped and jewellery items are and over Christmas I'll be launching my new page "The Stitching Fox" where my sewing makes will be... I've got some new collections in the pipeline so it's all very exciting... First though I need to decide on a logo... I've whittled it down to 3 (I think) so would love your thoughts... Once I'm live with the page I'll be sure to let you know so watch this space...

Good morning lovelies, Just a little information post to let you all know my order books will be closing this Friday - 11th November for all orders that are needed for Christmas. This gives me a chance to complete all orders and ensure they are sent with enough time to reach their destinations before Christmas Day. Any orders placed this week will be on a 4 week turnaround so will be complete and in the post by 9th December at the latest. This then gives me the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family over the Christmas period and also work on a couple of new items ready to re-launch after Christmas. Good evening lovelies, I hope you've all had a wonderful week. It's Friday, which for me means it's the weekend... It also means I started work 30 minutes later than the rest of the week... 30 minutes... What does 30 minutes mean to you?? To me, 30 minutes gets me 2 cups of tea instead of one... ☕ and this morning it also gave me a chance to make this gorgeous heat pad. I'd cut the fabric earlier in the week so it was just a case of sewing and filling. I took it to work with me and it was almost perfect for resting my wrists on whilst typing and keeping my hands warm... So I'm going to actually make a narrower but longer one specifically as a heatable keyboard/wrist rest. Good morning, It was an early start for me... I crazily offered to help Mr HMBH finish off a car he's been working on ready for the customer to come and pick it up in an hour or so.. Early = cold ❄ Good job I made these pocket warmers yesterday.. 45 seconds in the microwave and they've kept my hands toasty and warm. These have been on my "to make" list for ages and they're perfect for the winter months. Also perfect for injuries. You can keep them in the freezer and use them as ice packs or zap them in the microwave for warmth.
