These donations are so special to us. We feel so privileged to be assigned the task of ensuring a fellow crafter’s lifetime Craft Collection is shared within the local community. One customer who popped in recently with a donation said “I’m starting to thin out the things I’m never going to use and I’ve added you to my will so that my family know where to take the rest when I’m gone”. Such a thoughtful sentiment; as a crafter’s real treasures are rarely valued by people who don’t like to get creative. Nor do loved ones have the emotional energy to hunt down what to do with a lifetime of possessions. We are part of a network of Scrapstores that are all over the UK: www.reusefuluk.org - just in case you have relatives elsewhere who you might share this idea with.
