Steve is booked up currently into July so if you know you have a home reno project you want to cross off your list, it might be an idea to forward plan for it. Steve is happy to give you an idea of cost and for larger or trickier sounding jobs, will usually come out to see the project for himself so he can give you as accurate a cost as possible. He's an old fashioned man and prefers to speak to you rather than answer texts or messages, though his team behind him do try to plug that gap if you'd prefer to send a message through this page. 🛠 Hello to my patient and lovely clients 🛠 Just an update for you. After returning from a wonderful few weeks away with my wife and daughter, 2017 started with a challenge as my van broke down upon arriving back in frozen old Blighty! It presented a few issues to overcome but I now have a new vehicle and at last can get back to normality. I just wanted to let you know if you've experienced interruptions to my service that those problems should be over now. Thank you for your patience and continued support! 🛠 DIY Dad 🛠

🛠 MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our wonderful Facebook DIY-phobes! 🛠 DIY Dad is having a well deserved break for a few weeks in warmer climes. (Here he is resplendent in shorts next to a ridiculously large tree!) 🛠 Hello Facebook friends 🛠 I hate to say it, but IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS 😳 Now is most definitely the time to get your home looking tip-top before the family descend for 48 hours of festive frivolity! DIY Dad Steve Lloyd is a Maidenhead based handyman you can trust to do the projects around your house that you either can't do or never get around to doing. (Clockwise from top left) • What a great idea for old pallets! This shelving unit is cheap and gives you loads of storage space whilst adding rustic charm to your space. • This old sideboard has had a new lease of life after being made into a kitchen table. Genius! • She Sheds - A bit like the Man Cave, these sheds are taking off as THE place for women to retreat to when they need time out (and possibly a few glasses of wine in peace & quiet!) • I just love the use of this old window frame as a picture frame. This is up cycling at its absolute best!

Hello Facebook friends! We hope you've had a glorious summer and made great use of your gardens. It's the first day of Autumn. Let's hope the sun doesn't disappear just yet! I've just been scouring the many DIY posts and pictures on Facebook and found some great ideas for turning small spaces into functional areas in the home and I wanted to share these hacks with you. 🛠 Facebook friends! Here's a great idea for encouraging your children to play outdoors. DIY Dad was recently asked via his Facebook page to make two little children very happy by building them a "mud kitchen" in their garden for them to make mud pies in. Their mum Katie was very happy with the result!
