As the World winds down, I want to put something out there. Many dancers experienced fantastic highs, many met or exceeded personal bests, many defied fear and learned how courageous they were; to you, I congratulate you. Many, however, were disappointed - Remember please that you represented your school, region and country as the top percent of your qualifier. All those children who didnt qualify would give their eye teeth to be you. Your teacher was probably a little ill the night before you danced, I know they held their breath and danced with you through every one of your rounds and they agonized over the recalls and results. More than you will ever understand. We are all dancers. We know what its like to walk on stage! We also know that training a child for years and putting them on that stage is literally like watching your heart outside of your body. We also know that this dancing is a journey, look how far youve come!! Imagine where you will go!!!!!! 🌍 To make diamonds you need two things - pressure and time. So enjoy Easter everyone and enjoy the passion for dance that is intrinsic in all of us....... It never leaves and it never grows old. ☘
