So the bank holiday weekend is upon us and the weather is looking positively gorgeous!! What better way to spend your hard earned time off than too fill your tummies with some gorgeous grub and wash it all down with a nice cold beer or wine. As always we have some amazing specials on this weekend including SHARK!!!! But the party doesn't just stop at this weekend...... Friday the 2nd of September see's the return of our famous PIE AND PUDDING night, but this time we are going to push the boat out with different and more exciting variations of pie's. A rainy day doesn't put us off here at the Red Lion!!. Come pay us a visit to hide from the downpour we are receiving today and stock up on some lovely grub!! As well as our gorgeous menu we also have some cracking specials using locally sourced goods from all around the new forest and the surrounding area!!!!! Please book to avoid disappointment though as table are going fast.
THIS WEEK AT THE RED LION!!! We have our famous "Surf n Turf". A mouth watering 7oz Hampshire sirloin steak with scottish wholetail breaded langoustines. Or for you Lamb lovers we have a gorgeous red wine and rosemary braised lamb shank with pomegranate and mint Fancy something a bit more fishy? We have some fantastic south coast Plaice with a crunchy crab and herb crust to satisfy your fish cravings The Red Lion team look forward to welcoming you this weekend and lets cross ours fingers in hope that this weather stays with us through out!!!
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team for the summer or mabye longer to do some washing up, and also to do some food prep. For the right aplicant we would be happy to offer on the job training resulting in an NVQ qualification so that you can learn whilst you earn. Minimum wage to start with but the only way is up! Hours would be 15 to 30 hours a week including weekends and the position is for over 16 year olds.
