Today was the end of an era! We said goodbye to Michele our longest serving member of staff who has been with us for over 20 years! Although she has taken a step back in the last couple of years for many she was the manager of the shop! She has seen many staff members come and go, but she has always been the one to help anyone along and train many of the staff we have today! As many of you know Light Fantastic is a family run business and with out Michele we would not be where we are today, through thick and thin she has always done her best to support us and for that we owe her a lot! We would like to say a very big thank you to Michele unfortunately we couldn’t all make it down to give you the send off you deserve, but we will very soon! So for one last time Michele thank you so very much for your many years of hard work and support, we wish you the very best for your retirement and enjoy your beautiful grandchildren! We have made the decision to close today at 2pm. We will assess the weather conditions for tomorrow but hope to be open as usual.

We are opening today, our staff are making every effort to get there so please bare with us. Once we are open we have plenty of coal and gas, rock salt and snow shovels! And still plenty of sledges!
