Maverix Snow Ltd, provides year round snowboard instruction, coaching and personal development. thereby helping you look and feel great on snow. After a successful career in Marketing and Public Relations working for such brands as Aston Martin and Hewlett-Packard James changed gears and focused on applying his talents to more personally fulfilling, creative and adventurous pursuits. This ultimately resulted in the establishment of Maverix in 2008, the UK’s first year round snowboard coaching company.
Not only is Maverix one of the most well known and respected coaching companies in the UK, it affords James the opportunity to share knowledge and experience through his popular articles and photograph some of the best snowboarders in the world.
No matter what your level of skill his enthusiasm for coaching and creating unique on snow experiences will boost your love of snow sports and enrich you with timeless memories and talents that will last a lifetime.
James lives in the UK with his wife Sian who shares his passion for snow sports and other physically challenging hobbies.

Times are changing for our sport. The combination of the effects of global weather and the downturn in participation will make for an interesting future. We love the summer camps, but we're realistic that the opportunity to ride in the summer is a bonus and not a given. How many more summers do we have left?
