facebook.comChinese New Year Today Year 1 put on a very exciting assembly for the children of Breakspear. It was a lovely end to a wonderful half term.
Year 4 We enjoyed our day at The British Museum. It was lovely to meet Ann who told us lots of facts about the artifacts. We really enjoyed looking at the detail of the Anglo-Saxon helmet. Whilst looking at the artifacts, we tried out best to read the information cards that went with them- they were very interesting as they told us some information that we didn't know.
Thank you to all of those that generously donated money whilst attending the Christmas Nativities and Concerts. We raised £400. This money will help the children of The Braintrust School in Uganda. We are going to buy some stationery items with this and send it to them very soon.
Despite the wet weather, Year 5 had a great time this week at the London Metropolitan Archives and Royal Courts of Justice. The children thoroughly enjoyed dressing up and re-enacting a real life Victorian case.
We came 1st!
Well done to the Year 5&6 gymnasts who competed in the Key Steps Gymnastics Competition yesterday and came 1st!! We are very proud of them as they will now represent the School at the London Youth Games.
Well done to the Year 3 and 4 gymnasts who took part in the Key Steps Gymnastics Competition and came 6th!

Well done to all the children in the orchestra and choir for an amazing Winter Concert last night.
The whole School enjoyed the annual visit to St Giles Church for a Christmas service. Thank you Felicity and team for having us.
