A HUGE well done to the star of Lockerbie Gala, Miss Eilidh Farish, who took on not one or two but THREE roles - crowning, events and Turn Up! Lockerbie Gala doesn't just happen, people make it happen. Well done Eilidh and the rest of the committee and volunteers 👑

Well well well, where do we start? -firstly a massive thank you to our committee without them yesterday would not have been possible they are FANTASTIC 😘 -to the little salon for providing the children a dry and warm place to get their faces painted -to our chairman for delivering his speeches so well -to Finnie Haulage for donating their spectacular wagon -to Dave Beattie for assembling all new fences - to the rotary for keeping all the lorries and their troops safe and judging so well -to the barrier Boys -to Mr and Mrs Tucker McGuiness for the free juice and crisps for all the children up the park -to all the stewards on horseback -to our Lockerbie Pipe Band -to the Community Council for providing a free ice cream to every child -to all the entrants of the Gala parade -to all our principles and retinue for taking on your roles with such pride and representing the town of Lockerbie exceptionally - to everyone who run and sponsors and supports our events on the lead up to Gala -to our major sponsors Building Craftmens and DS Smith -to all the volunteers -to all the townspeople of Lockerbie and beyond who battles the weather to support every aspect of the day from the Crying of the Fayre at 8.25 to the Beat of the retreat at 18.25 we are so proud of this wee toon!!
