Spent the whole day sourcing some beautiful Moroccan Lanterns for a client. I was in my element 😍
Just about to start on an exciting project, sourcing some Moroccan items of Artisan Furnishings for a beautiful Masseria Italian Farm House. "Masseria” is a traditional farmhouse in the south of Italy. They where usually built by poor farmers in Tufo, a sandstone that they could easily produce. Usually it is surrounded by high walls to protect its residents since the Turkish pirates occupied the area in the 15th century and after, in fact most Masserie were built in the 16th and 17th century. It was a sort of castle for the people in Apulia where more than one family used to live in smaller houses of the Masseria and every family used to work on its own fileds producing wine, corn, cheeses and the traditional Italian products.
