Hi, my name is Cara and I am 17 years old.
In May 2012 I won the Under 21 Flower Arranging competition at the Anglesey Young Farmers Rally. At the rally I was approached by Llwyddo'n Lleol with a view to starting my own business, with their support.
My application was heard by the Panel on 22nd August 2012 and my business, Blodau Cara, started trading in September 2012.
Since then I have provided flower arrangements for Weddings, funerals, memorial tributes, gifts and bouquets in both real and artificial flowers.
More recently, my business has been shortlisted for the YFC Wales NatWest Business of the Year Award 2014.

For those of you who are new to my page I thought I would take the opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I am 19 years old and am in my second year, studying BTEC Business at Coleg Menai. Blodau Cara is 5 years old and started after I successfully competed in a Flower Arranging competition in the Young Farmers Rally. I was fortunate enough to receive a Llwyddo’n Lleol bursary and with the support of my grandmother, who has shared her flower arranging knowledge with me, I have built up the business. I am very lucky as I have a very loyal customer base.
