BOARDWALK ACCESS TO THE BEACH Volunteers and Rangers cleared the boardwalk of sand on Friday 24th November. Then the north wind blew and covered it over again and the forecast is for strong northerlies for the rest of this week! This means the wind will be blowing a continual stream of sand over the path and we just won’t be able to keep it clear. We’re hoping to be able to hire a mini-digger towards the end of next week to do some larger scale work around the boardwalk. We’ll then build some brushwood fencing which (all being well) should help to reduce the scale of the blown sand problem. Thanks for your patience and understanding and if everything goes to plan, we’ll be able to maintain access much more efficiently in the future.
