Today we have held an open day for our Anfield neighbourhood from 10 in the morning to 8 PM and we had the privilege to serve refreshments to so many nice people. It is important for us to let the neighbourhood know we want to be a resource for the Anfield community. A place when big and small occasions can be celebrated. As Hotel Tia is also a cultural hub, Bruce Grobbelaar had his photographs taken today here for the cover of his autobiography (coming out in October this year). Quite a few of our visitors were surprised to find Liverpool’s most winning goalkeeper inside room number 1, the keeper room, with Bruce’s match worn shirt over the bed. The moment of the day was by far when Rene and Bruce recreating the “In Bed With Lennon”. Little did Rene Gregory know when she came to the open day that she would end up in bed with Grobbelaar. “I have been married for 56 years and I swear, this is the first time in all those years I have been in bed with another man but my husband!” Rene giggles. Just lovely! #footballhotel #anfield #inbedwith #no1 #football #grobbelaar #keeper #bed #bedroom #lfc #liverpoolfc

Hello everyone... Today is the day, and it looks like we made it. There are things missing here and there, but nothing that can stop us opening now. I can promise you all it’s been a rollercoaster of a journey. We are all new to this stuff and we had no clue how to do it. But we knew how we wanted it to be. And thanks to great workers(and guys), we are now as close as we can be to show you all what we have achieved. Please be patient with us today, and we will do our very best to make you happy in our very special place. It’s been made for you to enjoy yourself. It’s as simple as that. Thanks a lot to everyone involved. You all know who you are, and I promise I really appreciate every little thing you have helped us with... You may say I’m a dreamer... But I’m not the only one. Welcome to Hotel Tia 🔴🏁 YNWA Tage

Welcome to the madness and joy of finishing the bar before our grand opening on Saturday. This is how it looked like early Thursday night, less than two days away from the opening. (The rooms and the lounge are all ready). And yes, we will get there in time. Enjoy the building site bar tour!

The countdown has begun — not many days left until the big opening on Saturday. Bar is open from 12pm There will be a little Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 13pm. We are proud to announce that the Ribbon Cutter will be the one and only Bruce Grobbelaar. He has been very supportive to us from day one of this project as well as being a good friend.
