CHARITY COOKIE CLASSES £30 Hockley, Essex. October (weekend dates only) I did some cookie classes at a reduced cost last year to raise funds for my cousin who was going through a cancer battle as well as a little girl at Artie's nursery who was battle leukaemia. My cousin Sam, sadly lost her life. We managed to raise an amazing £1000 of which every penny was donated to those causes. Unfortunately, I had some very sad news in June, my own little boy Artie who is 3 got diagnosed with cancer himself and we have been spending a lot of time at Great Ormond Street. We would now like to be able to raise some funds for Artie's cancer ward (Lon and Giraffe Ward at Great Ormond Street) to help buy new equipment/items for the ward/playroom and help children just like Artie. We spent almost 10 weeks at Great Ormond Street since June and it is very close to our heart. The amount of children I have seen pass away and broken hearted parents is beyond comprehendible. We have decided to run a couple of cookie classes (2 weekend dates in October) to raise funds for the Lion and Giraffe Wards at GOSH. They will be held at my home in Hockley, Essex. We have recently been running some cookie decorating classes to raise funds for my cousin who is suffering from stage 4 breast cancer. They were so successful that when we heard about a little girl local to us who is battling leukaemia, we thought we would run one more class to help boost their fundraising too. Some of the spaces have filled but I have a few spaces left for Sunday 18th November (morning session with lunch or afternoon session with cake). If you would be interested in attending one of these classes, the cost is £30, and you will take home 6 decorated cookies (decorated by you) and a booklet so you can recreate at home, the classes will run in a similar format to when I had the shop, but will be held in Hockley. ALL money raised from this class will be put directly to Layla's fund. Should you wish to book a place please send a message to this page and I will book you in.
