This is the OFFICIAL facebook page for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Rutland Army Cadet Force. Whilst we welcome your comments, inappropriate posts will be deleted and the author will be barred from the site. The Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a voluntary youth organisation for boys and girls between the ages of 12 (and in year 8 at school) and 18.
Apart from a small team of full time employees, the adults who staff the ACF are volunteers; officers all hold the Queen's Commission, although they have no call-up commitment, the remaining adult instructors wear ranks ranging from Sergeant Instructor to Regimental Sergeant Major Instructor.
The ACF is split into operating 'Counties'. This is the OFFICIAL group for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Rutland Army Cadet Force
