Just a wee post to thank everyone who took part and helped make Round 5 of the SACU enduro championship event today a great success. Also a big thank you to everyone who helped us rebuild the track after the March event...you know who you are, we really couldn't do it without you 💪 Provisional results are on our website and our next enduro event is in September, so look forward to seeing you all there again. All riders should now have received final instructions and confirmation of rider numbers by email ahead of this weekends enduro. If you haven't let me know. Would the winners of our last event in March make yourself known at signing on as we have a tin of Putoline chain lube for you! Riders Final Instructions ahead of this weekend’s SACU Championship Enduro at Woodheads Farm, Lauder, TD2 6RS DIRECTIONS From Lauder town hall: head south on A68, turn right after police station and continue through housing estate and follow road out of estate and past the cemetery. Continue past Woodheads Farm and follow orange arrows to event entrance. CAMPING If you are camping overnight at the track please follow the orange arrows to the parking area, which is also the paddock, and camp there. All generators must run on environmental mat, to be switched off by 10pm, and no bikes to be started between 8pm on Saturday evening and 9am Sunday morning. NO bike to be ridden in the parking area. TRAVEL Please allow plenty of travel time to allow you to be able to sign on between 8 and 9am. We are not aware of any travel diversions or delays. If you are lost/delayed or need to notify us of anything important on the morning of the event please call or send a text to 07534 127032. PARKING Follow the orange arrows past the farm entrance and turn left into a farm track. Parking is in a large flat field beside the start/finish area and next to the special test. TIMINGS Please remember to bring your ACU/SACU licence as these MUST be shown at signing on. Anyone who doesn’t bring their licence will need to complete a day licence form and pay £15 – so remember to bring it! Signing on is strictly between 8am and 9.00am. You will be given a timecard when you sign on. As soon as you are signed on get yourself, your helmet and bike to scrutineering. Once you're scrutineered you must take your bike into the parc ferme/pits area and leave it there until the start of the race. All bikes should be scrutineered by 9.30am so don’t delay in getting your bike checked and parked up in the pits. Riders briefing will be at 10am. The first riders will leave at 10.30am. All riders will leave 2 per minute. Each rider’s start time will be displayed on sheets at the signing on awning. Lap allowances for each class will also be shown. You should then use these times to fill in your time card which will be given at signing on. TRACK The track is approximately 11 mile long. As you turn into the event the road track is also used as part of the lap for approximately 300m. This will be walking pace for riders and if you are a spectator/helper please be in the parking/pits area before 10.30am There will be 2 road crossings. You will be asked to turn off your engine and dismount your bike before walking across the road. The first special test will not be timed, unless advised at riders briefing. The special test is available to walk from early Saturday morning onwards. Please follow the signs from the pits. There will be 2 time checks, one at the start/finish and another just before one of the road crossings. LAPS PER CLASS Experts 5 Clubman/Over 40s 4 Over 50s/Clubman B 4 Sportsman 3 CATERING Scott’s Catering van will be providing us with top nosh grub. The van will be located near signing on. With just over a week to go for the 5th round of the sacu Scottish championship by dbe...we are hard at it here making sure we are given you one of the best special tests we have ever done ...with tight technical areas in the trees and most importantly making sure it flows well ... also an open area ..video to follow tomorrow 👍👍🏴🏴
