Doughnut smashes are like cake smashes only way cooler! A lot of one-year-olds can be intimidated by a massive cake and often the pictures you see of them with the cake smeared all over their faces are as a result of parents or the photographer having to ’manipulate’ the shot. Mini doughnuts can be grabbed by little hands and rammed in mouths, noses, ears, etc!!!! Who doesn’t love a doughnut??? Any salvageable doughnuts left....well that's just a bonus for me 🍩🍩🍩

GDPR...heard about it yet? You soon will! General Data Protection Regulation is what the fancy acronym stands for. And it is all about keeping any records about you safe and sound (employee and customer) and applies to data on anyone living in the EU (regardless of where the company is based). Lots of business are moaning about it. Why? Because it means you can no longer sign people up for newsletters and communications sneakily (you know the whole check this box if you DON'T want to receive our newsletter written in teeny tiny font). The customer has to 'actively consent' to your request to use their data, in other words, you only agree to be contacted if you say yes, not because you didn't say no. Personally, I like it. I mean I would rather have fewer, engaged customers that I am completely transparent with 😊 (although all this talk about active consent is making me think about Harvey Weinstein😖). Anyway, that took a darker turn than I was expecting...🙈🙊but basically the deadline for businesses to get compliant is the 25th May. So if you get an email from me asking for your consent - that's why.
